Scholastic Book Fair is here!
October 18-24 in the Community Center
Red Ribbon Week at St. Ambrose School is here! Beginning Monday, October 24th through Friday, October 28th, Student Council will promote our theme “I ELECT to be DRUG FREE” through our red ribbon week song, “We are drug free” and by wearing bracelets for every day of Red Ribbon Week.
The activities planned for each day are below:
*Monday, October 24: “I have the POWER to be Drug Free” Students will each receive their RRW bracelet to wear, and begin to do our chant for RRW. (Make sure you wear your bracelet every day to get a free dress down day pass at the end of the week.) Students are also encouraged to wear superhero gear to show they have the POWER to be drug free.
*Tuesday, October 25: “Don’t get TIED DOWN with drugs” Students are encouraged to wear Tye dye shirts to school with uniform bottoms. Make sure you are still wearing your bracelet. Prizes go to those that wear them all week. We will again do the chant for being drug free with the assembly by student council.
*Wednesday, October 26: “We are ‘RED’-y to live a Drug Free life” Students should wear Red uniform shirts to show that we are celebrating Red Ribbon Week. Students will do chant that Student Council made for RRW.
*Thursday, October 27: “Sock It to Drugs”. Students are encouraged to wear Crazy socks with their uniforms. Chant again will be done in school assembly. Make sure you are wearing your bracelets.
*Friday, October 28: Scare off Drugs! Students are encouraged to wear a Halloween t-shirt to help scare off Drugs. All Students will help the whole school sing/chant the video they have been watching all week. “We are Drug Free.” Students will sign a pledge for being drug free.
If you have any questions on any of the events this week, please feel free to ask Miss Carpunky, Mrs. Wielgus, or any of our Student Council members.
